ABOUT US

Little Flower Inc. was founded in May 1982. The idea was born based on a demonstrated need for child care for working parents at a time when more single headed households were returning to work.

Little Flower is a privately funded educational institution which addresses itself to serving the academic, social and cultural needs of children during the preschool, primary and elementary grades.

Each term of study ensures regular and ongoing assessment of student’s achievements. End of year grades are given based on New York State standards and higher to ensure clear academic goals for each student in each grade level.
Regular conferences, progress reports and correspondence will help parents to understand the academic goals.

MONTESSORI
METHOD

Beginning September 2011 we are implementing the MONTESSORI approach for nursery and preschool children.
Children will be provided with a wide range of sensorial and motor experiences because it lays the groundwork for early learning.

Little Flower is an active member in the following professional organization. The National Association for the Education of Young Children & Child Care and The National Association for Child Care Professionals (NACCP).
These organizations have a deep commitment of strengthening the professional and leadership skills of Child Care Directors.
